Recently, Vishal Malhotra talked about the ups and downs in his career. He told that, by becoming Mambo in ‘Ishq Vishk’, he became so popular that he got a line of films. He did similar roles for 12 years, but then he got bored of it. He wanted to play a different role. He was again cooked by watching 12 years of rolls.
Vishal wanted to do something different
Describing himself in ‘Josh Talk’, Vishal said that once a very big producer-director offered him a very big film. The story of the movie was also very good, in which he was going to play the lead role. However, his character in the story of the film was like a ‘mambo’ role. The actor told that, he liked the story of the film, but he wants to play another role which is completely different from it. Vishal also said that he had only 6 scenes in the character he liked.
‘Pride’ ruined career
The great thing was that Vishal did not even want to take money for playing this role. The director was shocked to hear this from the actor. After this he never called Vishal. After this Vishal went to many directors and asked to work on a different role. The actor said, “When I rejected the role of that film, I went to many producers and directors and told them what I want to do. Initially everyone met me and praised my idea, but it was running in their mind that Vishal has gone mad.

The actor told that he had a pride that he would get the previous role and kept waiting with the same enthusiasm. Vishal said, time passed slowly and for two years he did not get any work. He had reached that point in life, where neither he could turn back nor was anyone giving him any further work. After this the actor got the idea of a business. Then he opened an advertising agency. He worked hard to make it big.
Started business with 55 rupees
According to Vishal, he started from zero and since 15 years this company is doing better work. The actor told that he started the business with Rs 55 and today the turnover of his company is Rs 4-5 crore. Let us tell you that Vishal has worked in films like ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’, ‘Kaal’, ‘Dor’ and ‘Kismet Connection’.
